FAQ
Handmade & One of a Kind
Daydream Designs stained glass pieces are individually handcrafted by me using the traditional Tiffany copper foil or leaded method. Because every piece is made by hand, no two will ever be exactly alike.
The piece you receive may be created with the same design shown, but the natural variations found in art glass mean that colors, textures, swirls, and patterns may vary slightly from the photograph. These variations are part of what makes each piece truly one of a kind.
Stained glass is an art form that has been cherished for centuries. When properly cared for, it can last for generations, becoming a timeless keepsake to enjoy for years to come.
Light Makes the Magic
One of the joys of stained glass is watching it change throughout the day. Morning sunshine, afternoon light, cloudy skies, and evening light all create different moods and bring out new colors, textures, and details.
Even when not hanging in direct sunlight, stained glass adds beautiful pops of color, sparkle, and visual interest to your home décor.

Hanging Your Stained Glass
For the safest and most secure display, I recommend hanging your stained glass from a sturdy hook with a wood screw installed into the top wooden window frame or other solid wood surface.
I do not recommend using suction cup hangers. Even high-quality suction cups can unexpectedly lose their grip over time, which may cause your stained glass to fall and break.
Smaller stained glass pieces may be safely displayed using high-quality adhesive hooks designed for windows or glass surfaces. Always follow the manufacturer's installation instructions carefully and periodically check the hook to ensure it remains securely attached.
One adhesive hook I recommend is available on Amazon:

No matter which hanging method you choose, always ensure your stained glass is securely supported before leaving it unattended.
Care Instructions
Your stained glass artwork is made from real glass and should always be handled as a fragile item.
To keep your piece looking beautiful:
- Handle with care and avoid dropping or bumping against hard surfaces.
- Dust occasionally with a soft microfiber cloth.
- If needed, gently wipe the glass with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scrubbing pads, or harsh chemicals.
- If not being displayed, carefully store upright, not flat, wrapping the piece in soft material to prevent scratches or breakage.
With proper care, your stained glass artwork can remain beautiful for decades and even become a treasured family heirloom.
